Other than for our beauty, charm and wit, there are many reasons to visit Wafels & Dinges. You will find nothing but the good stuff, and in three areas we are really hitting it out of the ballpark*: Liege wafels, everything spekuloos and Belgian hot cocoa. These are some of our favorite things. 

Liège Wafels

The Liège Wafel is the other Belgian waffle - the one the Belgians kept secret from America! It’s made with pearl sugar, a beet sugar unique to Belgium. The pearls burst and caramelize when the dough hits the iron, resulting in a dense, caramel glazed wafel that’s rich in flavor. This wafel is a real Belgian “street food”. When it comes to Liège waffles, Wafels & Dinges is the real deal - we are recognized as the leader for artisanally, freshly baked Liège waffles, and we work super hard to do it better than anyone else, even better than our friends over in the city of Liège!

Legendary Wafels

You'll have the option to add "Dinges" (Belgian slang for "whatchammacallits" or "toppings") to any wafel. You can either "Build your own" or you can choose from the list of most popular signature wafels - our list of "Legendary Wafels". 

Everything Spekuloos

Speku-what ??  Well, spekuloos is a centuries old word for a typical Belgian gingerbread cookie. In any coffee shop or tea-room in Belgium, chances are that your coffee shall be served with a spekuloos cookie on the side. At Wafels & Dinges, we bring spekuloos in 4 different ways to the world, because that's just how much we love spekuloos.

Hot Belgian Cocoa

In the world of Hot Cocoa drinks, there’s the amateurs, and then there’s the people who are very serious about “Belgian” Hot Cocoa. We are the second type. Many years ago, we decided that only our own proprietary recipe would be good enough to carry the “Wafels & Dinges” name. And so to this day, our Belgian Hot Cocoa is an award winning (Best of NYC) beverage for a few reasons: 

We make our own cocoa mix from imported Belgian cocoa powder and our proprietary (and secret) spice mix 

We make the W&D hot cocoa with whole milk and with half-n-half, as opposed to with water (oh please….the shamelessness of making it with water!)

We serve our hot cocoa with real whipped cream (wherever possible) We use beautiful, imported chocolate garnishes!
